#1 LOTSA Stone Fired Pizza

What is better than a pizza? A personal pizza that only costs $6.99 each and
is cooked within 150 seconds. LOTSA is one of the most popular place to get food late
night uptown. It is basically the Chipotle of pizza. You choose everything that
you want on your pizza going down the line. From the start of your order to
paying and getting your pizza it will take around 5 minutes, which is one of
the fastest meals you can get late night. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday
nights LOTSA stays open until 3 am.

#2 Seasons Pizza

Not sure what you want to eat after a long night out? Make sure to go to
Seasons Pizza. Seasons pizza has a large variety of food and drinks that you
can get until 3am! They have a two topping XL pizza for $10.99 you can’t pass
that up. Don’t want a pizza? Try one of there paninis, subs, salads or chicken
wings and if you want to keep on drinking you can order alcoholic beverages while you are waiting on your food.

#3 Troy’s Hot Dog Stand

Looking for a quick snack after going to the bars? Troy’s Hot Dog Stand is
the place to go. Troy has over 20 different hotdog specials and styles. He also
has a variety of sausages. While waiting in line you can play with his dog that
he brings to work every night. Troy’s a super friendly guy who makes hotdogs/sausages
quickly and cheaply! Additionally, he accepts cash and venmo which is very beneficially
after a long night out.

Troy’s Hot Dog Stand is located off of York Rd and W. Pennsylvania Avenue

The Best Bars Uptown

After a long week of doing school work, there is nothing better than getting a break and drinking with friends. Luckily, Uptown has a large variety of bars, each with it’s own unique atmosphere. All of the bars have different scenery and make uptown fun in their own way!

#1 The Rec Room/Torrent

The Rec Room and Torrent has the most to offer as a bar. The Rec Room/Torrent combo is two bars in one. First, there is The Rec Room which has an inside bar with a dance floor, an outside sitting area and dance floor, and an outside bar. The outside area has two walls that were made for people to take pictures with large murals. It also is the spot to day drink on Saturday’s which appeals to all of the college students. Torrent is connected to The Rec Room and has a totally different scene. Instead of the normal bar scene, it is more of a club. The bar is usually dark and has rave lights going crazy. Additionally, it has a huge Dj stand that is the center of attention. When going to this bar combo you have a lot to choose from and it appeals to many people.

#2 The Green Turtle

The Green Turtle is a popular bar in Towson. The Green Turtle does a lot of cool events to keep their crowd coming back. On Thursdays, they have a special that is called “Beat the Clock”. Beat the Clock starts at Nine O’clock and ends at Eleven. The deals start with twenty-five cent mixed drinks and the prices rise every half hour. They get customers to drink as much as possible to get cheap drinks. Another thing that they do is let students guest bartend to bring people in. The guest bartenders usually bartend on Tuesday’s because it is a slower night. The guest bartenders will bring their friends in and generate a fun environment. The Green Turtle also brings in some blowup toys occasionally here and there, such as jello wrestling or sumo wrestling. Another thing they brought was a mechanical bull. Things like this keep people coming and bring different environments!

#3 C & R Pub (Cowboys and Rednecks)

C&R is a fairly new bar, but became popular very quickly. It brought a new environment to uptown, which is the country scene. This bar plays only country music. At first, it was not popular because it was only opened until twelve a.m. When the bar opened up to the late-night crowd it became popular. The unique thing about C&R is that they allow their customers to act recklessly. The thing that attracts their customers is that they allow the customers to dance on the booths and the tables. Every other bar uptown will kick you out for dancing on the booths or tables. This makes C & R a place that is different from any other bar uptown and makes the bar fun.

The Best Brunch Spots in Uptown!

Who doesn’t love to start their morning off with a delicious breakfast paired with either your choice of a bloody Mary or mimosas? Keep reading to find out the hottest spots to brunch in Uptown along with some of my favorites on their menus!

Spot #1: The Point

The point, located right on York Road is my personal favorite spot for brunch. For starters, they offer bottomless Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, Natty Boh’s, and Sangrias for only $15. And what’s better than bottomless? Well, interchangeable bottomless. Unlike most brunch spots in Uptown, The Point allows you to mix and match between their bottomless options. Get sick of Bloody Mary’s? No problem! You can choose one of the other 3 bottomless drinks they offer.

Their menu pretty much covers it all for brunch. They have breakfast sandwiches, a variety of different eggs Benedict to choose from, the traditional pancakes or waffles, and a handful of different omelets. Furthermore, they offer breakfast bowls, breakfast nachos and some things on the sweeter side such as cannoli stuffed french toast.

Want to take brunch even further? Stop by the point on weekends for live music and the occasional drag show brunch! Be sure to check out their calendar to get the latest schedule of all their events!

Saturdays and Sundays ONLY 10am-3pm!

523 York Road Towson, MD 21204

Spot #2: The Green Turtle

The Green Turtle in Towson is one of the most popular bars Uptown has to offer. However, many people don’t know that they also offer brunch! Green Turtle does bottomless Bloody Mary’s and mimosas on the weekends for $12 with the purchase of an item on their breakfast menu. And not only do they do bottomless drinks but they also do bottomless pancakes! Their breakfast menu is a little smaller and more traditional, but everything is still delicious!

Saturdays and Sundays ONLY from 10am-2pm!

408 York Road Towson, MD 21204

Spot #3: Nacho Mamas

Nacho Mamas might be the only Mexican restaurant in Towson doing brunch, but let me tell you they do a darn good job with it! Unlike the other two restaurants, they sadly only do brunch on Sundays and do not offer bottomless. However, they have a much larger “liquid menu” for those who are 21 and older. Nacho Mamas offers Bloody Marias, which is bloody Mary mix with tequila. Meximosa’s, which is tequila with sprite and orange juice and many more yummy drinks to break up your traditional brunch drinks.

Come check out Nacho Mamas for a delicious nacho breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, sweet potato chorizo hash, and much much more!

Sundays ONLY from 11am-2pm!
